This painting is the first large canvas painting that Kacie has ever worked on, making this piece a particularly special one.
The background was created by layering abstract tape stencils in signature Kacie Kulture style. However, unlike in any other painting new techniques were used to recreate the possibilities of the Kacie Kulture style.
The colours worked with are also unlike any other Kacie Kulture painting. Instead of sticking to a strict colour palette artist Kacie Avery experimented with using as many different shades available At the time of just 3 colours; Yellow, Blue, and Green.
The main images is 2 faces together created with one line. In the background there is 2 more faces in the corners each painted with their own line. To complete the piece there is an an additional 8 one line faces drawn with pastels.
This inspiration for this piece was 2020 and the community that can arise from struggle.
